I think part of the reason she has cresent references in addition to her being the decoy princess is that Venus, like the moon, goes through phases and therefore is sometimes a cresent. Not sure if that's what Naoko had in mind... but when I learned that Venus has phases too that was one of the first things I thought of.

She has a crescent on her forehead, a crescent moon compact, and if i remember, she even mentions the moon in her attack. I understand that she's the twin planet and that's why she's so similar looking to Usagi, but was it because she awoken before Sailor Moon? I just don't get...

Well, I can’t wait to draw the number for the giveaway! Remember, you can reblog once a day. I’m done with my finals and my summer is going to be great! I got a job at Victoria’s Secret in the beauty department. Our store is getting remodeled so only our PINK side is open so I’ve been selling yoga pants and perfume all day long. ^^;
